Server Support
The Technology Center (TC) maintains a number of different servers in order
to support the activities of the Faculty Resource Center, other areas of
the Office of Information Technology, and faculty members. Among those servers
is www.ua.edu, the University of Alabama’s primary web server. In
addition, we maintain and support the server and software that provides
WebCT (the University’s primary web-based e-learning software). Other
servers support video and audio streaming, on-line databases, and numerous
other applications.
