The CIT’s Technology Center is your one-stop multimedia production facility. We can help you with:

Video production • the Technology Center can produce simple or elaborate projects using its state-of-the-art digital video production facilities. We have the latest professional-grade DV cameras, lighting and editing equipment, as well as 2-D animation, image manipulation and paint applications. Our staff can take your idea and provide turnkey video production services, including script writing.

DVD authoring • DVDs are cool! The TC features the latest professional DVD authoring software, and can assist you in making your DVD project a reality.

Video Streaming • Everybody wants their video on the web, and the TC can get it there for you. We can compress existing videos for web delivery within WebCT, (from our own QuickTime streaming server!) or we can deliver the compressed files to you for use on your own server. We can even compress files into Real Media or Windows Media files for you.

Video duplication • The TC does dubs. We can copy content from VHS or DVD to VHS or DVD. VHS isn’t going anywhere, and we’re still able to copy it in bulk.

Format conversion • That closet full of 16mm films can become a handful of DVDs here at the TC. We have a wide variety of video formats, 8mm, hi-8mm, digital 8mm, VHS, VHS-C, super VHS, DV, mini-DV, DVCAM, DVCPro and 16mm film. If we don’t have a player that will play your tape, chances are we know someone who does.
